- Maintain a digital inventory of your spice collection
- Use AI-powered features to identify spices from photos
- Set expiration reminders for your spices
- Search for spices using voice input
- Access reorder links through Amazon
- Optionally sync your data across devices via cloud backup
3. User Accounts
Creating an account is optional. The App functions fully offline without an account. If you choose to create an account:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use SpiceSnapp only for its intended purpose of personal spice inventory management. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the security of the App
5. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SpiceSnapp and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your spice inventory data remains your property.
6. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Open Food Facts, UPCitemdb, OpenAI, Amazon, Apple, and Google. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
7. Barcode and Product Information
Product information retrieved through barcode scanning is sourced from third-party databases. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of this information. You should verify product details independently when accuracy is important.
8. AI-Powered Features
SpiceSnapp uses artificial intelligence for features such as cabinet scanning, voice search, and spice descriptions. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and may not always be accurate. You should not rely solely on AI identification for food safety or allergy-related decisions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy of barcode lookups or AI-generated content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security of data transmission or storage
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SpiceSnapp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
SpiceSnapp is a kitchen organization tool and is not intended to provide medical, dietary, or allergen advice. Always check product labels and consult appropriate professionals for food safety concerns.
11. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
12. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
